Good Morning Friends of Cured,

Happy December! We hope you all had an utterly delicious Thanksgiving and are recovering from the bevy of food, wine, family and friends. Holden very much enjoyed his first Thanksgiving and has decided that, so far, that a day devoted entirelyto eating is hands down IMG_2613his favorite holiday. Guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! 😉

Christmas is only 23 days, which means that you likely have a long list of people, and presents to take care of in the next 3 weeks. For us, the holidays are all about sharing time and love with friends and family and, at least in our book, there is no better way to do this then over a shared meal and bottle of wine. Plus, it just so happens that here at Cured, we love little more then scheming and crafting the most delicious of gifts, designed to bring you, and the ones you love, together for this magical season. So, after Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, we are creating a new shopping holiday, and thus are excited to introduce, Gift Box Tuesday!!

For this week’s Wednesday Night Pasta, Brad is whipping up Tuscan White Bean, Sage, and Prosciutto Cappelletti. Thursday night we have our freshly roasted chickens and duck fat mashed potatoes, and then this Friday, we have our bi-monthly Friday Night Feast. Becca will be spending the day in the kitchen, making Chicken and Dumplings. Personally, Holden cannot wait! Dinner includes: Slow cooked chicken in rich broth with seasonal vegetables and plump dumplings, a Collard Greens Gratin (collard greens baked in a mornay sauce topped with crisp prosciutto and bread crumbs) and a Smoked Sweet Potato Pie with Cinnamon Dusted Meringue Topping for dessert. Dinner for two costs $38 and will be hot out of the oven at 5:30.

Pheww….I apologize for the novella quality of this newsletter. There is just so much deliciousness to share this time of year!! I hope I didn’t bore you all to tears, or to hunger pains from all the talk of mouthwatering bites…
